The Huntington's Disease Society of America (HDSA), New Jersey Chapter, is a national non-profit voluntary health agency. Huntington's Disease (HD) is a devastating, hereditary, degenerative brain disorder for which there is, at present, no effective treatment or cure. The mission of HDSA is to promote and support research directed at discovering a treatment and ultimately a cure for HD; to help HD individuals and their families through support and services at their three NJ clinics located in Stratford, Piscataway, and Newark; and to educate both public and health care professionals about HD.
