Evesham Fire-Rescue

Evesham Fire-Rescue is looking for people who want to make a contribution to the safety of their neighborhood. We are looking for people who are willing to volunteer their time to this worthy and fulfilling cause. Contact us about Joining the TEAM! You can volunteer as a Firefighter, EMT or BOTH! Open to Evesham Residents & EMT and Certified Non-residents 18 years of age or older.

Food Bank of South Jersey

The Food Bank of South Jersey’s mission is to provide an immediate solution to the urgent problem of hunger, by providing food  to needy, teaching them to eat nutritiously, and helping them find sustainable ways to improve their lives.  Volunteer Hours are M – F 9:00 – 11:30am and 12:30 – 3pm shifts.  No walk-ins, all volunteering must be scheduled.  Jobs include: sorting, packing boxes of can goods, sorting non-foods, packing Kidz Packs and Senior bags, etc.  There are also offsite Hope Mobile and special events volunteering available.  Must be over 13 years old.  13 – 16

Goodwill Industries of Southern New Jersey

Goodwill Industries of Southern New Jersey Through the mass collection and resale of donated items, Goodwill funds job training programs and career services that help individuals with disabilities and disadvantages to get to work.  Churches, businesses, schools, civic organization and neighborhoods are encouraged to host Goodwill Donation Drives to collect gently-used items in support of this mission.  For more information on how to set up a drive, please contact khenry@goodwillnj.org.

 

Holy Redeemer Hospice

Holy Redeemer Hospice wants to offer you a way to give back to your community.  Some opportunities include clerical work to support the staff, or patient visits and companionship to support those on our service and their families.  Patient visits are often in the home, however, visits to facilities may be requested as well.  No personal care required.  Training is provided.  Please call the Volunteer Coordinator, Rebeccah, at 609 472-7871 or email rbotbyl@holyredeemer.com for more info.

Kaleidoscope Therapeutic Riding Program

Kaleidoscope Therapeutic Riding Program,  Flora Lea Farm,  21 Branin Road, Medford, NJ 08055 - Help a child with special needs get more out of life! Flexible schedule! Great Exercise! Must be at least 12 years of age. Become a Volunteer! To help a child with special needs get more out of life and achieve more is an incredibly rewarding service. Our schedule is flexible and you don't have to commit to the same time every week. Previous horse handling experience is helpful but not necessary.

Golden Eagle Community Band

Golden Eagle Community Band seeks volunteer amateur adult musicians to perform familiar music for
people of all ages at parades and concerts throughout South Jersey. Volunteers must already play an instrument and should be able to read music. High school students (14+) are admitted by audition. Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings during the school year at the Lumberton Middle School.
