Burlington County. Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children of Mercer and Burlington Counties

Learn how to become an Advocate for abused and neglected children in Burlington County. Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children of Mercer and Burlington Counties is currently recruiting volunteers to advocate for the best interests of children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. CASA and its volunteers speak for children in court, serve as fact finders for the family court judges and safeguard the interests of the children while they are in the foster care system.

Burlington County Superior Court

Burlington County Superior Court is actively recruiting volunteers for a variety of court based programs. Volunteers have been working in the courts for decades. Thousands of volunteers participate in the delivery of court services statewide, helping to resolve disputes justly for the people of New Jersey. Court volunteers represent a broad cross-section of the community, from high school students helping other youth avoid delinquency to adults and seniors who greet and assist court users, mediate neighborhood disputes, and advocate for children in foster care.

Voorhees Pediatric Facility

Voorhees Pediatric Facility seeks volunteers 14 years and older to interact hands on with children in the Medical Daycare Center or Therapeutic Recreation Department playing games, reading stories and socializing with residents.  We also seek assistance providing clerical support.  Volunteer opportunities are available 7 days a week; volunteers must be able to commit a minimum of  2 hours a week for a minimum of 3 months!
