Learn how to become an Advocate for abused and neglected children in Burlington County. Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children of Mercer and Burlington Counties is currently recruiting volunteers to advocate for the best interests of children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. CASA and its volunteers speak for children in court, serve as fact finders for the family court judges and safeguard the interests of the children while they are in the foster care system.

The New Jersey Youth ChalleNGe Academy provides a highly disciplined environment fostering academics, leadership development, physical training, and personal growth to educate and train unemployed youth who have ceased to attend high school.

New Jersey Orators, Inc. (www.oratorsinc.org) is a 35-year old non-profit youth organization serving annually over 250 youth in eight counties throughout New Jersey, including chapters in Burlington County. Its mission is to teach the art of public speaking, an appreciation for literature, reading and media arts literacy, civic engagement, college readiness, and life skills to youth from 7 to 18 years of age in preparation for college.
