Evesham Historical Society

Evesham Historical Society - In preserving some of the history of Evesham, the Evesham Historical Society continues to maintain the 1772 Inskeep House, privy, an old relocated butcher shop and herb garden. The house is furnished as a museum of local history, including a display of Native American artifacts. Volunteers are welcome to assist with special events, maintenance of the home, marketing, computer assistance, research and grant writing.

Battleship New Jersey Memorial & Museum

Battleship New Jersey Memorial & Museum needs volunteer tour guides (18+) for weekend, weekday, and evening events.  Tour guides lead individual and group tours, work with veterans and youth groups, chaperone overnight encampments, and serve as guest lecturers throughout the tri-state area.  Also, restoration and clerical support opportunities.  No previous military experience required.

The Historic Underground Railroad Museum of Burlington County Seeks Cyber Volunteer

The Historic Underground Railroad Museum of Burlington County is seeking a cyber volunteer to compile a comprehensive list of all active museums in America dedicated to sharing the history and culture of African Americans and their enslaved descendants. The Museum desires to create a master list and share that information with its visitors and on its website to allow families to visit these monuments to cultures as they travel for vacations, reunions, business or cultural tours.

Jersey Yahoos Burlington County's Own 23rd Vol Inf Reg

Volunteers need/wanted to represent the 23rd Reg. NJ Vol. Inf. The 23rd Reg. was a 9 mouth vol, reg. Date Mustered on Sept. 13th Mustered out June 27th, 1863.

Through Living History, to foster awareness and appreciation of the men and boys
from Burlington County who answered their country's call and formed the NJ 23rd
Volunteer Infantry Regiment, joining the famous First NJ Brigade in the struggle to
preserve the Union.

Armed Forces Heritage Museum

Armed Forces Heritage Museum, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, is seeking volunteers to assist us with our mission programs. Volunteer opportunities include: MiniMo mobile museum setup/take down and docent responsibilities at public events throughout the county and surrounding areas, with upcoming planned events at the Roebling Car Show (4/27), Jeeps on the Waterfront-Burlington (5/4), Bordentown Street Fair (5/18-19), Ewing Partiots Day (7/3), Burlington County Farm Fair (7/16-20), and more! Living History presentations support of programs that feature veterans who have served with distinction.
